T-72M1, Libya 2011
Extensively detailed Revell kit with a scratchbuilt turret. Many other details have been improved and copies cast in resin. These include the tracks
and most of the upper front hull. I also used a few parts from the Extratech photo-etched set, notably the headlight guards.The tow cable is from
Eureka XXL.
It was painted and weathered using Humbrol enamels and Tamiya acrylics and represents a Libyan vehicle captured by rebels during the 2011 uprising.
